Grooming Assistant/Bather

The Grooming Assistant is responsible for providing professional quality bathing and drying, cleaning pets’ ears, clipping and filing nails, creating a clean and safe environment for pets, maintaining grooming equipment, and providing assistance to the Pet Groomers & Stylists.  Candidates for this position should have at least one year of experience with pet bathing and grooming services, should be able to recognize and understand specific dog breeds, and be physically able to handle and secure large dogs.

Pet Groomer & Stylist

Each Pet Groomer & Stylist at City Dogs Grooming is responsible for providing pet quality and breed standard cuts, providing professional bathing and spa services, discussing and documenting clients’ grooming requests and promoting services to current and potential clients. Candidates for the position should have a minimum of 2 years experience as a professional groomer and pet stylist.  Advanced knowledge of individual breed standards, excellent scissoring techniques and physically able to secure and handle large and small dogs. In addition, candidates should have strong customer service and communication skills.

Front Desk/Reception

The Front Desk Staff is responsible for taking great care of our clients and coordinating the services they request for their fur babies. Responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls, assisting clients with reservations, entering client and pet data into the computer system and providing tours of the facility. Candidates who have completed high school are preferred.
